- Prize draw open now for chance to win tickets to intimate Hackney Church show
On Wednesday, 3 December, Coldplay’s Jonny Buckland and Chris Martin will play a special, intimate show at Hackney Church in London, to raise vital funds for Crisis and War Child. The tickets are available in a prize draw, which is open now here.
The prize draw will close at 11.59pm (GMT) on Monday 17 November. The randomly-selected winners will be notified that week, with 150 winners each receiving a pair of tickets. Tickets will be strictly non-transferable with winners required to show photo ID to gain entry.
All proceeds from the draw will go towards two important causes: Crisis’ life-changing services helping people across Britain start their lives out of homelessness and War Child’s vital work delivering emergency aid, specialist mental health support, and more to children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
Matt Downie, Crisis Chief Executive, said: “Chris has supported Crisis with incredible passion for over two decades and following last year’s unforgettable performance, we're delighted that he and Jonny will be returning with another spectacular show in support of both Crisis and War Child.
“With over 300,000 households spending Christmas this year without a home, our work has never been more important. This year we’ll once again be opening our services to people facing homelessness across the country, offering warmth, kindness and support during one of the toughest times of the year to help them rebuild their lives away from homelessness this Christmas and beyond.
“By entering the prize draw, you’re not only in for a chance of experiencing a magical night but you will be helping to make a real difference towards ending homelessness for good.”
The special show follows last year’s Hackney Church performance by Chris and Jonny which raised over £350,000 for Crisis in just two days.
Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child UK said: “Music has the power to inspire action, and we’re incredibly grateful to Jonny and Chris, and everyone on team Coldplay for donating their time and talents to put on this show in support of War Child and Crisis. As winter draws close, millions of children that have already experienced the horrors of war, now face bitter cold, hunger, and displacement. By entering the prize draw to attend this incredibly special show, fans will not only have the chance to be part of a truly unforgettable evening, they will also directly support War Child to provide these children with warmth, safety, and hope for a brighter future. From creating safe spaces to play and learn, to delivering specialist mental health support and emergency assistance for families who have lost everything, War Child's work has never been more urgent.”
