Get involved with Crisis at Christmas in Oxford

This winter make a difference and help someone as they build a life beyond homelessness.

This Christmas, people facing homelessness in Oxford will need support. Crisis works at Christmas and all year round to support people in Oxford to build lives beyond homelessness.

Every year thanks to our Christmas appeal we offer much needed warmth, advice, food and company to people experiencing homelessness. Our Christmas services work alongside the specialist support we provide all year, which includes helping people to find their own stable home, to access education and training.

Throughout December our offer will include:

  • A range of activities for our members including haircuts, eye tests, arts activities and a festive breakfast
  • Deliveries of festive hampers containing a variety of goods to support our members throughout the winter season including; warm socks, shower gel and food items particularly suited to the living situation.

We will be supported by volunteers in helping to make the season special for those experiencing homelessness.

This includes drivers to deliver Christmas packs, packers to assemble them, and wellbeing volunteers to call individuals and discuss their preferences.
