Since 2018, we’ve enjoyed a long-standing partnership with the players of People’s Postcode Lottery, who have raised almost £20 million in dedicated support. As one of People’s Postcode Lottery charity partners, we’re able to transform lives, tackle the root causes of homelessness, and make a lasting impact across Great Britain.
Crisis receives flexible, long-term support from players through funding awarded by the Postcode Support Trust. This People’s Postcode Lottery charity funding empowers us to be bold and ambitious in our mission to end homelessness.
We’re deeply thankful to players and the Postcode Support Trust for standing with us. Ending homelessness means challenging failing systems and policies and tackling the discrimination that leaves some groups more at risk than others. With the trust and backing of People’s Postcode Lottery, we can take on this challenge with confidence.
Over the last seven years, players have raised almost £20 million for Crisis. Previous project-based funding has touched almost every part of our work — from building new Crisis Skylight centres in London, Brent, and Edinburgh, to placing clinical psychologists in every Skylight, and supporting our award-winning Venture Studio.
As one of People’s Postcode Lottery’s charity partners, this flexible support means we can:
People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries on behalf of 20 Postcode Trusts. It's a monthly subscription lottery where players can win cash prizes, while helping to fund the vital work of charities internationally, nationally and locally.
A minimum of 33% from every ticket goes directly to charities and good causes in Britain and internationally. To date, players have raised more than £1.4 billion for good causes.
Money raised by players of the People's Postcode Lottery supports a number of international and national charities, as well as local causes. Charities include Crisis, British Red Cross and Oxfam, among others.
