Five years of backing founders who are changing the way we tackle homelessness. Join us to celebrate what's been achieved - and what comes next.
Since 2021, Venture Studio from Crisis has invested in eight companies developing innovative solutions to the housing crisis, convened over 3,000 people across the public, private and third sectors, and built a new model for how philanthropic capital can drive long-term, systemic change.
This summer, we're marking five years with an evening of drinks, conversation, and a panel discussion bringing together some of the sharpest minds working at the intersection of housing, investment and social innovation. On the night, we'll also be sharing highlights from our impact report and portfolio companies.
Date: Thursday 18 June
Time: 6-8pm
Venue: Café Mission, 7–9 Fashion Street, London E1 6PX
Please contact venture.studio@crisis.org.uk if you have any questions about the event.
Matt Downie, Chief Executive of Crisis, will open the evening. The panel, chaired by Chenelle Ansah, Venture Capital Partner and Chair of our Investment Committee, will explore why entrepreneurship and innovation are essential to ending homelessness, and what it will take to get there.
Confirmed panellists:
Amelie Montague — Strategic Investment Lead, Homewards / The Royal Foundation
Neil Sartorio — Lead Partner for Local Public Services, EY
Plus further speakers to be announced.
